Original price was: 49.00$.Current price is: 49.00$. 34.30$

Heavy blocky capitals cast in warm copper gold, with baroque acanthus scrolls and curls cut across every solid stroke. The Gold Baroque Font keeps its silhouette intact, which is rare for an ornate face, so headlines stay readable. Deep shadows sit inside the carving while the raised ridges catch a hard light.

Ornament Pressed Into Solid Metal

The letter comes first here, and the ornament arrives afterwards. Each capital stays a solid blocky shape, then acanthus scrolls and curls are cut across the surface. The silhouette therefore survives, which is unusual for an ornate face. Deep shadows sit inside the carving, while the raised ridges catch a hard light. Because the pattern shifts letter by letter, repeated glyphs never match. Look along a stroke and the scrollwork follows its curve rather than sitting flat.

Copper Rather Than Yellow Gold

The metal reads coppery instead of yellow, and that choice does a lot of work. Warm bronze tones sit better on dark grounds than bright gold, since they hold shadow. Highlights run orange at the peaks too, which keeps the surface from going flat. Besides, the weight of the strokes makes the Gold Baroque Font usable at real headline sizes. Figures, currency signs and punctuation carry the same carving. Naturally the copper photographs better than bright gold under warm light.

Where the Gold Baroque Font Belongs

Spirits labels, perfume packaging, hotel branding, record sleeves and awards work all suit it. Because the ornament is dense, one large initial often says more than a whole word. Meanwhile black and deep red grounds flatter the copper most. If you want ornament that builds the letter rather than decorating it, see Golden Rococo Font. Naturally a little restraint elsewhere helps. Because the palette is so warm, silver and cool greys fight it.

Everything in the Gold Baroque Font

It arrives as a working OTF, so the ornament never has to be redrawn. Transparent PNG letters come alongside at high resolution, ready for a single carved capital. The rest of the treasury sits in our Gold Fonts collection, of course. Above all, set it large and let the scrollwork show.
